Amadea West attended St Marys University Strawberry Hill and has a BA in Medieval History. She has been a producer, a ghost writer, owned a clothing line, and lived between Los Angeles, the Cotswolds and London. She has four children and lives in London with her husband Simon West.

Apart from being a spy her father painted landscapes of the mountains he grew up in in Switzerland. It was during her childhood painting with her father that she learned her love of drawing and painting.

She now lives and works in London and spends most days in her studio.
